Jupiter is a very self sufficient, strong woman. She's the Alpha's daughter and cares for her pack but has no desire to mate and settle down. As much as she wants what's best for her pack, she also loves her job in the human world and her best friend, who's also human. Her dad throws some surprises at her and shakes thing up in her world. Even though it's not what she wants, she rolls with it. Our 5 guys are in somewhat of the same situation. They are not there necessarily by choice. Even so, they are all determined to make things work and do what needs to be done to save their packs.

I like all the characters even though a couple do some shady stuff that took me off guard. In the end they redeemed themselves and it was all OK. I do like the fact that Jupiter has her own life and we get to see into her job but I felt some of it was rushed. While we got the jist of her work and the case, it felt a little unresolved still. Like it was more of a filler and not relevant. As far as the relationship goes, they definitely go from nothing to something really quick. There's a good bit of sexy time too.

Overall I did enjoy the book. I wish there was a little more to it as I said but I will be reading the next one.

So I don't really consider this to be a spoiler but I've learned that some do, hence the warning. There is some MM in this book. It's not much but it takes you by surprise. So just be aware if it's not your thing.
