It's a...Reverse Harem
Trigger warning: Flashback scenes. Hi, I’m Alexis Delaney. I’m your average 17-year-old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead and help them move on. So… okay, I’m not your average 17-year-old girl. The Veil is still shut. Which means the dead can’t move on, not on their own. Through my Link to the Veil, I’ve been able to start helping souls to cross. The Veil is changing, healing. Like I am. Since I came home from the hospital, I’ve been hiding behind my best friends. That’s about to change. I want my life back. I’m ready to get back to normal. Then Sophie, the twins’ little sister, tells me she’s ready to cross over. Ethan pulled her back, and now it was time to face it. I have to tell Ethan and Isaac their sister’s soul is in their house. What the hell am I going to say? This is actually a .5 book, hence the lower price than my usual books in this series

The Veil Diaries Series-
Trying To Live With The Dead
When The Dead Come A Kncokin’
When To Fear The Living
Whispers From The Dead BL does it again!

Whispers From The Dead is book 3.5/4. We pick up alittle time from where When to Fear  The Living leaves off. Lexi has been trying to deal with the psychological effects of the attack. She is trying so hard to get her life back on track without fear. But with Zeke, Isaac, Miles, Ethan and Asher there to help guide her when ever they are needed, she is slowly getting her life back.  She is also dealing with the dead.  They are getting more pushy in their need to cross over.  Add in Sophie, the twin's little sister, is ready to crossover.  How does she tell the twins that the sister they didn't know was still hanging around is ready move on? With so much happening in Lexi's life, can she find a way to deal or will everything push her over the edge?

I really loved Lexi in When to Fear The Living and Whispers From The Dead.  I see her character growing and becoming stronger than ever.  Even with so much going on, her strength and wit and loyalty, she is one of my favorite female characters.  In WFTD, her relationship's with the guys are slowly developing into other things.  A kiss here, a skip of a heartbeat there. I am enjoying this slow build because I know the outcome will be worth it, when it happens.  We get to see POV from the guys which was interesting and fun. Zeke, he has his own issues he is trying to work through. Which we get to see. And can Lexi work past her fear of being close to Zeke.  We get to see Miles in a little different light. When he does his swim meet, oh the hotness!! The Twins Isaac and Ethan, we learn of their heartache, and I freely admit I shed a tear or two, maybe even three. Asher is such a rock and there for everyone I fell more in love with him.  We get to see more of the Veil and Lexi's working with/in it.  Overall WFTD was another can't put down read by B.L. and I cannot wait to see what she has next for Lexi and the boys.
