TO OUR READERS…
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for purchasing this book and reading it! We hope you, as the readers, enjoy this book as much as we enjoyed writing it. We want to make sure you know that we feel this is a serious story about changing a world. It’s romantic, dramatic, funny, and sometimes a heart wrenching read. It’s full of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. We didn’t add a trigger warning in the blurb on the paperback. We added it here. Be warned: this book contains reverse harem relationships, graphic sex scenes, rape, violence, and language.
Sincerely Yours,
Miki Ward and Garrett Ward
I would categorize this as a medium-burn romance.
It starts off fairly slow, but it heats up reasonably quickly.
The concept of the story is very unique and interesting.
Gargoyles are not something that I've seen too much of, but seems like they are making their appearance recently.
Especially in the reverse harem genre.
I'm not exactly sure how to describe this book.
While it is interesting, it is sort of hard to get invested in it.
I felt like it was a lot of listing off what was happening.
"He did this, I did that, Together we did this..." type of thing.
Some of the scenes didn't seem to fully come together and I was left hanging, trying to figure out if it was something to be discussed later.
Or it was just left open ended.
You're given a lot of detail in this book.
About the background.
About what's currently happening.
And what it means for their futures.
But you are still given a lot of action as well.
The characters are all very different and unique in their own way.
But at times I felt like the chemistry was forced between some of them, but with others it was natural.
Overall, I think it is a good book.
I think if you can power through it, you will enjoy it.
And hopefully the second book will give us more.
I would probably recommend this book if someone was looking for a gargoyle book in particular.
Since I don't have many in my reading list, I would suggest this one.
