If you have read any of my reviews on G. Bailey, you know that I am a huge fan. Have been since the beginning. Not only is it because she is a beautiful person, she has such a way with words. She can create these stories that take you on these adventures. She has several different series and every time I read one, I don't think she can get any better and then she does.
In Runes of Black Magic we have a lot happening. I am not going to give anything away, but I can say that we get to see Evie and her guys go through the queen trials, which was very intense. I was not able to stop reading until the end. I feel that each one in this series just keeps getting better and better, with just the right amount of action, character advancement, and twists and turns. I have enjoyed Evie as a female lead so very much. I always enjoy a character who can kick a@@. But she does have an odd fascination with bacon.
If you haven't read this series yet, I recommend starting with book one, Runes of Truth. This series is an awesome fast paced read. You have everything from a bad a@@ female lead, to her guys that fit her perfectly. Definitely give this series a try, and if you are already following this series. Guys Runes of Black Magic delivers. Yes there is a cliff hanger, but I feel it sets up for book four perfectly.
