This is the first time I have read this author, and I have to say I loved this. I loved the plot, the characters, the writing style, everything.

We have our main lead Mildred, Milly, who is living in a dystopian world where the Collapse happened, and things that go bump in the night.  Safely behind enclosed gates she lives her life.  Heathy women are treasured, but usually are kept so, so that they can breed more children.  She is  beautiful which ups her value.  She is actually promised to the golden boy of the compound, Blake.  Little does she know that those strange dreams she has, tells of a man that will enter her life, one that she will know intimately.  And he will change her life.

Jackson has dreamed of Milly for awhile.  He knows every curve of her body. He is one of the super-human, along with his team.  He also sees when she will be taken by The Ravens, taken on a raid for females.  From the moment of their meeting I loved these two together.  She is strong and will say what she wants, but yes there was a few times when she was in denial, sometimes alittle much.  But overall I enjoyed her discovery of her new life and her coping with it.  Jackson I was hot for from the beginning.  As well as his team Ben, Doc and Alex.  I will let you discover what they are.  All are sexy, and they all want her.  They have a special bond that we discover throughout the book. Chemistry is off the charts with them all, I will say though that Jackson or Ben is my fave.

Overall, this was a great surprise read, and wanted to pass on.  I will be looking forward to book two, I need to know some answers that I hope it brings.  I am also going to check out her other works which it looks like I have a lot to choose from.

PS. Can I just say that this cover is Beautiful!! Caught my eye right off the bat!!!
