Still figuring out their newfound powers, and the connection which binds them all together, the guys don’t hesitate to do everything they can to protect the woman they love.
Whitney may have brought her guys to life, but when she falls ill, they are left scrambling. Will her men pay any price to save her, or will the storm that brought them together, tear them apart?
Whitney brought her guys back to life with their connection. They fought hard to get to where they are, all together. Is the connection that saved them killing her though? Whitney is sick and they have to scramble to find what's wrong before it's too late. Sacrifices have to be made. Will it be worth it in the end?
This series give us a different look at "zombies" than we've had before. I love the uniqueness of it all. I have to say though that I was probably at 4 stars with this book until we got toward the end. Not that the book was bad in any way. I just wasn't as hooked as I was in the first one. Like I said, until toward the end. Then, these authors ripped my heart open and made me bleed. This group, the love they have for each other in the world they live in. The sacrifices they have made for each other. Then what happens at the end? Break. My. Heart. I've literally just finished reading this and I can't even process it all right now. I want to jump into the story and help. I really wasn't expecting to be drawn in as much as I was and to feel all the emotions that I have right now. Great job by these authors and I'm seriously in need of the next book.
