Vegas and The Ravens have been a family since they met when they were young, each a foster kid.  Together they are a family unit, their goal stopping dangerous drug deals.  All for her.  They started in high school and now in college, they have kept very busy.  Vegas is the unspoken leader, ranging from assuring all members maintain active school status to late night confrontations. There is a darkness to her group, some have it more than others.  But when things start getting weirder than normal, like a stalker, dead ravens in her room, the boys hiding something, and a secret that seems just out of her reach. Vegas vows to get to the bottom of what is going on, because no one is going to hurt The Ravens, No One!!


I just happened across Raven Blood, the blurb caught my eye.  And wow I was blown away.  I consumed this story from start to finish.  Vegas and The Ravens had captured my interest from the first page. The writing style and the plot, spot on.  This is not going to be your typical Rh, and I cannot wait for more from this series.

The characters:
Vegas- the main character, one of the only two girls. Unspoken leader, the center of their group. Strong and loyal.
Lucida- lives on her own, has the Ravens back.
The Guys- Blue, Bandit, Grover, Decimus, Cosimo, Rocket, Booker and Kodiak.  They have been in love with her since they first met her.  Their personalities range from Alpha to the computer nerd.  And make no mistake there is nothing that they will not do her her.

Guys, honestly this story has all of my points for a great Rh, with a dark theme.  Loyal and strong female lead, lets the overprotective guys be overprotective.  Loves them unconditionally, and will do anything for them. They in turn can and have done whatever it takes to keep their girl safe.  There is more guys in the dynamic then what I am used to reading, so I am interested to see how this all works out.  Maybe another two added? We will have to see. This is a slower burn, as they are moving from a friends to more.  That does not mean nothing happens, they just don't have a physical relationship in this one.   There are a few errors here and there but over all it did not take away from the story at all.  The ending does have a big reveal, and yeah I am going to need book two as quickly as I can, I absolutely need to know what happens next.

So final thoughts, this is an awesome read, you really will not want to miss this one.  Also, side note, it is Kindle Unlimited.
