I am going to do this review on both of these titles, and a separate one for book three, which just released. Someone suggested that I read Ending Omen, Thank you Anna, and I was hooked from page one. If you are into darker themed romances, and RH at that, this will be needed to be added to your TBR pile. This is a fast paced read, I read both in like 4 hours, but it is filled with so much. There are some trigger warnings so if you are sensitive to such matters, be advised.
In Ending Omen we have the introduction of the main characters. Our female lead is Octavia, she is a hard as nails chick who gives back just as good as she gets. I love this about her, she knows what she wants and gets it. The guys, oh yeah, you are going to want to hate them. Cause I did at first. So book one is just mainly introducing the characters and how the game is going to be played.
Book Two, Deadly Omen, steps it up a notch. You discover that there is alittle more to the story than you thought. You will have moments of "Oh hell no" and moments of "Get it Girl".
I do not want to give the storyline away to much, because that is part of the story, trying to figure out what is going on. The pace is fast, so if you are looking for a slow paced one, this is not it. There is a lot going on, so pay attention, there are things thrown at you all over the place. There is such mystery in the story with, what is going on. There is so much badness with these guys doing whatever the hell they want, and they don't care about what or who gets in their way. If you don't like bad boys, like real bad boys who take what they want, you may want go in reading this expecting that. There is no insta love, so be warned on that. Though there is some insta hate.
So if you like bad boys, a good mystery, fast paced storyline with a what the hell is going on plot, definitely check out this series!!!
PS. These do end on cliffhangers, but they come out quickly after each ending, so thankfully we do not have long to wait!
