I have been waiting for Broken Empire ever since I finished Defiant Princess. That ending gets you. Broken Empire picks right up where DP leaves off. In case you haven't read the series yet, I will not give spoilers, but damn!! I couldn't read fast enough to see what happens next.
We know how horrible the guys have been, we know how strong that Talia is. She is just such a strong character, you root for her through out the entire series. I just kept thinking while I read what she goes through, is just "Get it Girl". Show them you won't back down. She is a fighter and it shows in everything she does. I really adore her as a character.
The guys, I have to say I went from liking them, to starting to love them, to hating them, to maybe starting to like them again. And finally ending up freaking loving them. I love how protective they are of her in BE. It was a long hard journey but finally we are where we need to be. To see them work a team, especially with all of the twists and turns throughout the book.
So overall, if you haven't read this story yet, please do. This is hands down one of the best reverse harem bully romances out there. Hell, its just a good story all the way around.
