Henleigh has been through a lot in her short life. She once had the protection of her brother and his friends but one night changed all that. She lost all of them at once. Since then she has learned to distance herself. Not to care what others thought. When she finds herself at a new school with people who won't let her stay that way, she thinks that her life might finally have a bright spot. But Henleigh is carrying secrets too. One thing we know, secrets always catch up with you.

This is the first book in a new series by B.C. First I'll say that there is some definite bullying going on in this book. HOWEVER, it is not by the love interests. Second thing I'll say about this book is that we still don't have a clue as to what the hell is really going on. LOL I say that not in a bad way. It definitely has you guessing and thinking you know, and you might have a clue, but we don't know anything for sure yet.

Ugh there are things I want to say but I don't want to ruin the story for anyone. I can tell you that I really like Henleigh. She's got some secrets but she's a tough cookie and she's full of spunk. Elijah, Noah, Amias and Ivy are a bit of a weird group of friends to have but overall I like them all. I'm not sure about what's going on with Ivy and then after that ending....well, that was just something right there. Somebody's got some explaining to do!!!

In the end we are left with tons of questions and a bit of heartache. But we know our girl Henleigh is going to pull through it all and set things right. I'm interested to see how that plays out. I'm also interested to see what comes of Henleigh's secret visits she's been making. Trying not to spoil anything but those who have read it will know what I mean. Could something be there after it's all said and done? Can't wait to read the next book and gets all of these answers!!!!!!!!!
