This book goes along with the Paranormal Prison series. Each book within the series is a standalone so they do not have to be read to know what is going on. Not all of the books in the series are RH either.

Imogen is a banshee accused of murder and put into Nightmare Penitentiary. Not only is it hard to know you are in prison for something you didn't do, it's even harder when you were put there by someone you trusted. Nightmare Penitentiary is no country club resort either. Imogen is put through some extremely painful and unnecessary things because she is a banshee. So when her past shows up, she isn't sure what to think. Should she really be foolish enough to trust again?

I can tell you up front that I have only read a couple of the Paranormal Prison books. I just haven't had the time. I really enjoyed this addition to it. Autumn and Ripley are a great team. I think their writing styles merge together seamlessly. Even though this isn't a huge book, we get a ton of story. We get good feel for all of the characters. There were some twists in there to keep things interesting. I also love how these authors don't force the sexy times down your throat. You can have a great RH love story without having sex scenes in every chapter.

I don't want to give anything away about the book so I'll just tell you that if you enjoy these two authors, then I think you will love this book as well.
