Paranormal Prison Series


As always I'll start by saying that this is part of the Paranormal Prison series. They all take place in Nightmare Penitentiary but you do not have to read all of the books to keep up. They are all standalone. Not all of the books in the series are RH either. This one is.

This book is about Fiona. She's a succubus whose entire life gets flipped upside down when she makes the mistake of going home with a vampire. Her sassy mouth pushes him too far and after accidentally draining her, he tries to heal her with his blood. Bad idea. Now she's something that should not exist. A hybrid. That's how she ends up in Nightmare Penitentiary. Even though she knows what happened to her, she is in complete denial. Like usual when you are in denial about something, it turns out to be very bad for you. Just because she doesn't want to be a vampire and feed her vampire side doesn't mean she doesn't have to. Fiona finds herself in denial about a lot of things throughout the book.

Being a hybrid is a myth. As mentioned before, they aren't supposed to exist. There is a group of male hybrids who do and have been waiting on Fiona. Once they learn she is in Nightmare, they start working to get her out.

First off, let me say that this book is HOT. There is a ton of sexy times. Like do NOT read this book in public. If you are not a lover of a ton of sex scenes then you might want to skip this one. However, there was an actual story in there as well. Fiona is a very sassy and funny character. I love her. Even if she can be frustrating at times with her stubbornness. She had me totally cracking up at times. We meet the guys one by one and while they have all been together for a long time, they are all so different. Man is she going to have her hands full with these guys. I feel like we were just starting to get a real feel of who they are and their pasts right there at the end.

I really enjoyed this story. A lot more than I thought I would going in because I am not always a lover of the tons of sex. These characters just really drew me in, especially Maddox, and I can't wait to read the next one. I feel like it's going to be a bumpy road with Fiona and her stubborn self but I'm ready.
