Knockout Queen, (The Heights Crew )
E.M. Moore
Goodreads, Amazon
It's a...Reverse Harem
I came to the Heights with a purpose. Join the Heights Crew. Move up the ranks. Make it implode from the inside out. But more than anything, make them suffer as much as I’ve suffered over the years because of them. I planned everything…or so I’d thought. I had a contingency plan for my contingency plan, but that was before I met them. The few members of the crew who’ve already irrevocably changed my life. I thought I knew what I wanted, and I still do want that, but if getting my vengeance means ruining my future—our future—how can I live with that? KNOCKOUT QUEEN is a dark high school enemies to lovers RH.

I really don't even know where to start guys. Y'all know I love me some E.M. Moore but I promise I am not being biased when I tell y'all she is such a talented author. The way she draws you in and hooks you into the story. The way the story just flows so smoothly. A lot of times you have authors who have a really good story, but the writing is sub par. You still love it and enjoy it. You don't even think too much about the writing. Then you read a book by someone with the talent of E.M. and wonder how in the hell you've been enjoying all these other books. Just to clarify, I'm not knocking other authors and saying their work is crap. There are a ton of very talented authors out there. I'm just saying that E.M. is one of those very talented authors. I've yet to read anything from her that I haven't liked and her work just continues to get better as she goes. When you can take a character like Johnny, make everyone hate him, then turn around and give him redemption, that ladies and gents is some talent. I think he may have taken top spot out of the guys for me.

Now this book/series in particular. Kyla has been a kick butt, can't help but root for her lead from the get go. Her past is so tragic and she is so fierce. So determined to get to the end goal. She never imagined when she stepped into the Heights that she would find the loves of her life. The guys, what can you say about them? They each have their strengths and their weaknesses. They all have a fierce love for Kyla, even if they have a hard time showing it sometimes. The way they all come together in this last book, just perfect.

I don't want to give too much away. We pick up where we ended book 3, right after the bombing. Johnny and Oscar are missing. So the action starts right off the bat and it does not end until the very end! You think you know something and you don't know jack. You've got a twist here and a turn there. We have some heartfelt moments, some break you moments, some holy cow what the crap happened moments. Don't forget some sexy as hell moments too. This book was just full of everything you want and need from a series ending book. That's not to say that I wouldn't read more of these characters b/c I totally would. But we get everything we need in this.

If you haven't started the series yet, well you probably shouldn't have read this review, but you definitely need to pick up book one and get lost in this world right away.
