It's a...Reverse Harem

When an act of violence shatters her life and dreams, Dr. Kate Michaels is forced into a nomadic existence. Another town, another assignment. Content to live life one day at a time, Kate self-isolates to protect herself from the fear and judgment of others. In Montana for her latest job, will she find love and salvation with four scintillating men, or will she let the past hold her back? Brothers by choice, they lost hope when the woman they loved left them. Can they open their battered hearts and trust again? Sexy Lev, full of laughter and sunshine, with so much love to give. Icy, controlled Lowell…is there more behind the façade? Shaw, fierce and commanding, protecting his family against further heartache. Lost and hurting, can Thayer let go of his destructive ways and embrace his future?

Warning: A WhyChoose Reverse Harem Romance with MMFMM. This book contains scenes and references of violence, and recollections of an abusive past some readers may find triggering. 18+ years of age, due to mature content.

As I am sure a lot of you do, I always check on the New Releases and I stumbled upon this book.  When I read the blurb, I was hooked.  I needed to read this.  I am so glad I did.

Our female lead Kate Michaels has been through a lot in the last few years.  I do not want to get into it much because it really adds to the story.  There is a trigger warning in there for an abusive past so beware on that.  To me it did not go into to too much detail on it so if that helps.  She gets a chance to step in for a doctor that had been hurt to help with his practice.  There she meets four men.  She has a chance at happiness if only she will open up to it.  Not to mention the guys may have some issues to handle on their own.

All I know is that I could not put down my kindle on this one.  I loved Kate as a character, I connected with her right off the bat.  The guys Lev, Shaw, Lowell and Thayer each are just what Kate needs to heal if only she could open up to a relationship that is maybe not on the norm.  Watching their relationship blossom, and the healing love that happens was so satisfying.  I cannot wait to see what this author comes up with now.
