I'm glad I hadn't read that before this because I love the RH variation of the series. Why Choose all the way baby!
Elle Middaugh is a new-to-me author and I'm very curious to see some of her other works.
Because of this lifestyle, she has become somewhat of a socially awkward loner unable to form relationships but has a sassy and quick wit attitude.
After graduating high school, Val decided to move in with her aunt more permanently to attend the local college.
It's here that she reconnects with people from high school and crazy things begin to happen.
These events led to Val uncovering just what is special about this town as well as her aunt and herself.
Holden, Cade, Chase.
Holden is your golden retriever type. Possessive, protective, playful, and very loving.
Cade is your preppy boy. He is super popular but has a temper and a foul mouth.
Cade is an alphahole.
Chase is the bad boy with a bad attitude.
This is a very slow burn, and we aren't even sure who will be in the harem.
Though I'm intrigued to see how things will play out.

You have those that want to stay separate from the humans, those that want to blend into human society, and of course those that believe they are far better than anyone.
This is where Valerie finds herself standing after landing back in town.
Grudges have been held from years and the younger generations are tired of playing along. They want to set themselves apart. Find their own happiness despite what consequences their actions may have.
But in doing so, they have put Val on the chopping block.
If you have read the original series, you might know, but I'm going to continue with waiting for book two to see how it plays out.
