Destiny Be Damned, (Last Hope)
Rebecca Royce
Goodreads, Amazon
It's a...Reverse Harem
It is the end of days… With no memory of how she left one existence for another, Mika spends her days serving those who need her without the benefit of guards. Unlike her fellow Sisters she was never in love with any of those who ever worked with her. Until five contractors show up to fix the Sisterhood. They are not battle ready… Neil, Wayne, Gordon, Ren, and Lennon are not trained guards. They have no idea that their destiny is to be with Mika, far away from the island paradise where they were raised. But when she needs them, they will discover what they were born to do and awaken a destiny in Mika that will change the world forever.

Mika is a little lost. She's still recovering from the curse and trying to find her place in the sisterhood without guards. She's taken up the job of caretaker, trying to get the rundown place ready to be the sisterhood they envision. When she finds herself the only sister with powers and a demon at the gate, she has no choice but to act, no matter that she has no guards. She finds help in the unlikeliest of places when the five contractors step in. For some reason, they can't seem to walk away and let Mika fight alone. Until they do. When things go wrong and Mika disappears, secrets are uncovered and truths are told. Will Mika and her contractors follow the path divinity has laid out for them or tell destiny to screw off  and do what feels right?

This is the third book in the series and while I have absolutely LOVED the first two, Mika is my favorite sister. She really pulls at your heartstrings and had me close to tears a couple times. She's stronger than anyone gives her credit for and so selfless. The guys in this book you can't help but love as well. Even if they are stupid at times. It's not their fault though, they are just trying to do what they think is right.

There's a lot of information in this book about why the world is the way it is now and what the future has in store. We have two more books in this series and I have to say, I'm intrigued already by the bits and pieces we have gotten from those sisters already. Sister Krystal is next and I'm so stoked.

Honestly, I've been trying to write this review for  a while now. I keep having to stop and delete. I want to tell you so much but this is just one of those books you need to experience as it comes. If I tell you too much it will ruin the experience for you. I'll just say that if you liked the first two books in this series, you will love this book, too.
