It's a...Reverse Harem
Seven towns. Seven seas. The seven council. The seven words every person lives by.
The sea is lost, pirates are death.
Cassandra should have been killed at birth, like all the other children who have powers like her.
The changed ones.
The ones who started the war, lost the seas and killed millions with their gifts.
Lucky for Cassandra, her father is on the council. One of the seven rulers of her large town and has kept her hidden her entire life.
When she is seen for the first time, she has no choice but to run and the only place she can go is to the sea.
To the pirates and a certain death.
At least that is what she thinks. When she meets six handsome pirates and they take her on board their ship, she learns about a whole new world.
If only she can protect her heart when they all desire to own it.

Can I just say that G. Bailey has done it again. Escape The Sea has made me love Pirates, well six to be exact. And you will too. Cassandra, has only had contact with her father, her tutor, and the tutors daughter. Having been feared her whole life for being a Changed One,who are rumored to have started the war, lost the sea and killed millions. They are usually killed when young, but with a father who was a council member she was kept hidden. Until one night while her father is away on business, she attends a party with her best friend. One in which she was revealed. On the run, she escapes to the one place she can, The Sea. There she is saved by Pirates, sexy, not what she was expecting Pirates. Out to Sea she gets to know Chaz, Jacob, Hunter, Ryland, Dante and Zach. They promise her safe passage to Fiaten, where changed ones secretly gather. But the path is paved with betrayal. Can Cassandra make it to her safe haven? Or will she find herself in the hands of the enemy?
I loved Cassandra’s humor, wit and strength. Having gone threw isolation and loneliness her short life, I was rooting for her from the beginning. And the guys, I loved every one of them the same. Which is rare, usually you have a favorite or two. I found all six just perfect for the fire that Cassandra has. There is a cliffhanger, but a good one that nicely sets up for book two. Escape The Sea is an addicting first book in this wonderful new series.
