Kit is still adjusting to her new situation in life. While they are all waiting on answers, Kit disappears. She finds herself in a predicament she never thought she'd be in again. Luckily for her, she's got someone on her side. After receiving help from an unlikely source, she ends up back on track to figuring out her past. Along the way she makes some split second decisions that change everything forever. Secrets are revealed, questions are answered and mysteries are uncovered. There's still so much more to learn though.

Kit is just as fierce and badass in this book as she was in the first. Maybe even more so with all she has to deal with. We again get adventure after adventure as Kit always finds herself in trouble. We get to meet some new characters in this book who are very....interesting. We get to see a new side of some of the old characters as well. There are definitely some steamy sexy times in this book.

Just like the first book in this series, once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. There is so much going on that you are continuously on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what's going to happen next. Tate does a fantastic job of making you fall in love with the characters, bringing you into their world and sometimes, giving you just enough information to make your mind go crazy trying to figure things out while waiting on the next book. Still one of my favorite series this year. Can't wait for the next book.
