Aurora has her hands full, she has a hookup who wants to be more, but Aurora does not think that he will be able to handle it when she uses her powers to help others. Then there is her boss, who she has wanted forever. But he refuses to look twice at her. Not to mention the leader of the Renegades, and her bosses ex best friend. They were just about to take things to the next level before he left. Top that off with an elven prince, who says that she belongs with him. With powers that people want on their side, Aurora tries hard to do the right thing. But with a war brewing, which side will she choose?
I really enjoyed Succubus Lips. We jump in pretty much with the story very quickly. It took me a few minutes to understand what was happening and who the characters were. But once I understood this world that Lina created, I was able to really enjoy it. Aurora has a rare gift. One that helps boost powers. But she has to kiss you. If she were to have sex with you, it would boost ones powers for a day. You can imagine that she would be popular. When she was first recruited she felt an instant attraction to the two founders of the Vera program best friends, Zander and Jayden. Zander deflected and became the leader of the Renegades, making things even harder, since he bonded to her. Which leads to some interesting times lol. Jayden does want Aurora but feels like he cannot be with her. Nash is her usual hook up, he wants more, but she feels like she cannot have a relationship with all that she does for the team. And lastly Alarik, elf prince, who feels a connection with Aurora from the start. It takes most of the story for all the pieces to fall into place, but once they do, I really enjoyed the flow and the characters. With the right amount of action, romance, sex scenes, and enjoyable characters, Succubus Lips makes for a good read. P.S. Loved the ending!! I had a big smile on that one. With Succubus Heart we have Alanna's story which is Alarik's sister.
