Heart of the Pack, (The Wolves of Wild Junction Book 2)
Kristen Banet
Goodreads, Amazon
It's a...Reverse Harem
Abigail has a piece of paradise. One full of friends, small town hangouts, and three wolves that have given her a place among them. That simple paradise might be jeopardized when Abigail is confronted by the growing uncertainty of the future. Her wolves have problems of their own, trying to keep their noses out of trouble. All of them have questions they can’t answer. Is this just a fling or can it stand the tests their lives will throw at them?

"Sometimes we need a break from the Shadows and Felines, we need a little cuddle in the sunlight and embrace the light and fluffy. "- Me

Abby's job in Wild Junction is coming to an end and her budding relationship with the pack is on the line. The wolves want her. But they know her staying would destroy a career that Abby has worked hard for and loves. Abby doesn't want to lose her wolves either but doesn't know what truly knows she wants most. I'll be honest Abby drove me batty at times in the first book but she seems to have mostly moved on from old issues and she won me back in this addition. I appreciate that she took charge of getting her 'Happily Ever After', and what a happily ever after they get.

Of course just because we ended the last book with Abby stating she was done running, our happily ever after isn't an easy win. Characters we had hoped to never see hide or hair of show up and stir up trouble, trouble that could hurt Wild Junction. The pack is still struggling with recovering after loosing pack members when the Pride and Pack were kidnapped. This is the last book in the duology, I guess we must all return to life where it is all shadows darkness and battle. It was fun while it lasted *sigh*
