Willa Knight: The saviour of both worlds, or the destruction of everything?
Sometimes history lies, and the tales of Minatsol and Topia are no different. Since the birth of Topia, Staviti has woven a web of deceit around the truth of Creation, striving only to maintain his power while destroying anything that gets in his way. Now, Willa and the Abcurses are determined to strip back the layers, to uncover the truth, and to understand the true nature of the two worlds before it's too late.
The only problem?
Any wrong step in their quest to restore balance might have terrible repercussions. Every single being—living or dead—might have to pay the price.
This is a full novel, 90,000 words. Book 5 of 5 in the Curse of the Gods Series
Well ladies and gentlemen, it's finally here. The end. What an amazing series this has been. We have laughed, a lot, we have cried, we have LOVED. While I am so incredibly sad to say goodbye to Willa and her men, Jane and Jaymin couldn't possibly have written a better ending.
Pain picks up where Strength left off. If you read the Neutral novella then it's right at the end of that but again, that's not a must read to keep up with the story. It's a must read b/c it's Emmy and Cyrus and so much goodness but I digress. Willa and the guys are still hiding on Pica's platform and planning her "coming out" party. As always, things couldn't possibly go as planned and chaos ensues. When they think they have finally taken down Staviti, they realize that he was more prepared than they could ever imagine. Now they must race to find the answers before everything is lost.
Since this is the last book in the series we get all our questions answered. Boy did we have a lot of them too. You might think that with so many lingering questions to be answered and things to be wrapped up that this would be rushed and jumbled together but not with these two authors. They did a wonderful job of fitting in all the information in a way that flows seamlessly.
Just like the rest of the series, this last book is full of fun and laughter, serious mushy, lovey, heartwarming moments, and lots and lots of action and adventure. It's a roller coaster ride from cover to cover.
I want to finish this up with a quick thank you to the two authors who brought us the most hilarious, loving, clumsy, and full of chaos main character who had our hearts from the get go. For the five Abcurse brothers who we couldn't help but love, even when they were being grumpy a-holes. For the side characters who captured our hearts just as much as the main characters did. Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful series to love whole heartedly.
