The Deluge
This is the third and final book in The Storm series. At the end of book two we were left devastated when Whitney lost her guys. Watching them walk away. Then Carson, oh that broke my heart. In The Deluge a year has passed. Whitney has been through the emotions and has settled on becoming the best, strongest version of herself. She has to be in order to get her guys back.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. It's a different spin on zombies than I have ever read/seen before. So that in itself was refreshing. Then there was the development of the characters. Not only Whitney but the guys as well. We also get to see the world changing. The side characters and how they react to people and controlled and uncontrolled alike.
This whole series has been packed full of action, suspense and emotional turmoil. This last book is no different. I think it was an excellent ending to this unique and exciting series. I have loved these two authors working together on this and I hope they choose to do it again in the future.
