It's a...Reverse Harem
One sassy pyromaniac thief, three sexy-as-sin monsters, and a paranormal conspiracy of epic proportions.
It was an ordinary job. Another night, another asshole collector of the supernatural. I free some poor little beasties from their cages, pocket a few trinkets to pay my bills, and burn the place down on my way out. Just call me the Robin Hood of monster emancipation.
I didn’t count on three manly monsters following me home like lost puppies. Stunningly hot lost puppies, but still. Now I’ve got a seductively cheeky incubus, a sweetly enthusiastic demon, and a grimly stoic angel camped out in my kitchen. They’re determined to repay me for my help, and they won’t get out of my apartment until they’re satisfied we’re even.
To be fair, they’ve got no place else to go. A covert band of hunters captured their boss, and the trail is ice-cold. I’ll lend a hand if it means I can send them packing… and when it looks like we’re up against the same creeps who murdered the person I loved most, you’d better believe I’m all in.
Track down the baddies.
Steal back the boss.
Don’t get killed along the way.
Oh, and maybe hook up with a monstrous hottie or two.
Piece of cake.
I’m so going to regret this.

The blurb pulled me in on this one.
I've been looking for demon themed reverse harem books and this one definitely hit the spot.
Sorsha is our female lead.
She is a human who has a soft spot for shadow demons.
Her reasoning is close to the heart and she hates to see the injustice of what is done to them.
However, she never expects to find three of the shadows she saved in her apartment.
Or for these three shadows to take to protecting her, want her help saving their boss, or for the ones who captured them to tie into her past.
Sorsha currently has three members in her harem, though I suspect that another one will join the fray in the future.
Thorn. Snap. and Ruse.
Each are different types of shadow demons.
Snap is a devour demon who doesn't exactly like devouring anyone.
Ruse is an incubus.
And we aren't exactly sure what Thorn is, but we do get a glimpse at his demon form.
We see a steamy see featuring Ruse almost right out of the bat due do his powers and need.
Snap has a steamy scene as well but it is further in the book.
We know that Thorn and Sorsha are attracted to each other, but they don't act on it just yet.
Omen is the boss of the three shadow demons who they are trying to locate and save.
I'm thinking that he will become a part of the harem in the next book.
I love how the author used creatures we might know from other stories or myth, but changed their dynamics.
They don't necessarily follow the status quo of what we would normally assume from them.
Overall, this was a well-written book and definitely drew me in.
I'm excited to see what happens next.
Would definitely recommend.
All four books in the series are out!!
