It's a...Reverse Harem
This is our town. We are the ones who ultimately decide whether you live or die, so be careful what sins you commit. We’re the Deadly Seven, the rejects, and we represent death to anyone who crosses a line we deem unacceptable. When she shows up in our town like some innocent avenging Angel, we don’t know what to think…so we watch. And the more we watch, the more obsessed we become. *** I’ve been on the run for the past four years. My Dad has done everything in his power to keep me hidden from the man who wants to destroy me, but you can only run for so long before you have to stop. Officially in Witness Protection, this is supposed to be my chance to finally have a normal life…but nothing is ever foolproof. If you think it is, you’re naive. I know I’m being watched. I can feel eyes on me every second of every day. I don’t think I’m as safe here as they want us to believe…

Not to be cliché but even after my second read on this, count me straight up OBSESSED myself. So our girl Hailee and her Dad have been running to protect her after her own mother cold heartedly sold her to save her own neck. They have landed in the protection of WITSEC and are about to start what should be a more peaceful part of their lives.

I'm doing individual reviews on all four books of this series over the next couple of days so I'm going to try and stick to each individual book per review so we don't get too far. The titling is in reference to the start of this family, as each individual "brothers" first meet, see and or start stalking. There are seven men with two pairs being biological brothers but over time (prior to the story) and circumstances have all become a solid unit. There are some m/m aspects in the men but it is all very well written no worries about alliances to their soon to be queen in this book or the following ones. Hailee is the soul that has been exposed to the dark, while keeping its light. She's been sheltered to a certain extent by her father Brent, he has been her dark savior. She knows to her soul that to protect innocent, you have to rise to the dark. This is the definition of the Seven. There are no limits when it comes to what they will do for the innocent. That is exactly who her men also are; souls blackened but only to save the innocent and as they quickly find out in this book, Hailee. This is medium burn in my opinion and can have triggers. This is such a good series and just the start.
