It's a...Reverse Harem
My life changed forever the night I died. I’d like to think that that’s where the story begins, but the truth is it began the moment I was born.
It turns out I’m a phoenix, and the seven deadly sins? They exist in the form of ancient and powerful stones.
Once pillars of virtue, the stones are now corrupt. It’s up to the Guardian Royals, a group of four powerful princes, to retrieve the stones from the monsters hell-bent on destroying the world. Whoever holds all seven stones controls the realms.
That’s where I come in. Only a phoenix can transform the stone’s powers back to good and restore harmony.
If I fail, all hell will break loose, and I really don’t want to be responsible for the apocalypse.
Good thing I have my Royals to help me.
Mateo, the alpha and True Shifter, determined to fight the desire building between us. Hart, the firedrake with the wicked mouth intent on claiming me first. Arren and Vale, the twins. One's a healer with soulful eyes and dark secrets. The other's an assassin with a cold heart and a cruel mouth. All of them want to protect me.
Then there’s Brock. Not a Guardian Royal. He’s my ex, and I’m bound to him. I’d gladly sever the ties if it didn’t mean he had to die. I may be desperate, but I’m not heartless. My guys on the other hand? Brock better watch his back.
I found this book on TikTok and stalked the author in order to get an advanced copy.
Though I ended up reading it through Kindle Unlimited.

Aurora's life changed a lot the night she died.
She just didn't realize that it was really a lot different from the moment she was born.
I'm not sure how to express my feelings on this book.
While I enjoy the concept and find it interesting, I'm not a huge fan of the delivery.

My biggest issue I think is with one of the harem, Brock.
Aurora has had an on and off relationship with him for a while before cutting it off completely after finding him cheating (though from his POV you find out that things weren't exactly as they seemed).
There are four others in the harem.
Mateo. Hart. Arren. Vale.

The chapters in this book are very short and are told from different perspectives.
Mainly Aurora and Brock, though we see a few from the others.

I lost interest about halfway through and started skimming through the dialogue more than actually reading everything.
This might be a book that I'll have to go back and read once the series is complete and see if it sparks more interest.
As of right now, wasn't really for me.
