Savage Bonds, (The Bonds that Tie)
J Bree
Goodreads, Amazon
It's a...Reverse Harem
With my gift coursing through my veins, the tables have turned on the Draven Campus. I’m no longer the Giftless reject, no longer the girl who’s fair game to the other students for daring to run away from my Bonds. But there are bigger problems heading my way. With destiny pushing me closer and closer to each of my Bonds, I’m fighting tooth and nail against nature to keep my distance. But they’re fighting harder to keep me in their grasp. When it becomes clear that the Resistance is closer than we ever thought, I don’t know who I can trust. Can I finally take control of my gift, or will it take control of me? *Savage Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations.

Dun Dun Dunnnn...
So much mystery surrounding Oli and the time that she was "running" from her bonds.
But it seems her past is finally starting to catch up with her.
If that ending is anything to go by.
Such a good cliffhanger.
Three months will be a hard wait to know what will happen next, but I'm so excited.

Book two starts off with a prologue from North.
It takes place during when Oli has been kidnapped and they are waiting for word back from the others to know what is going on.
After that, we go back to the current situation from Oli's point of view.
There are many times I would love to see from the guys' point of views on things, just so we know what is happening around them.
One particular scene is when Atlas goes off on Oli's previous employee at the coffee shop. I would love to know EXACTLY what he was doing in there. And what North and Gryphon do later.

This book has more tension between Oli and her guys.
Of the good kind. The steamy kind.
And we even see a bond form between Oli and one of them.
However, not between one you would automatically assume.
We also get to see more depth into the guys instead of just surface level things.
It's interesting to see how the relationships and characters are developing.

One of the things that I like about this book is the secondary characters.
There are a few and it took me a moment to reorient myself when I began reading to remember who everyone was.
Once I got everyone figured out, I loved learning about them.
It doesn't feel like we are just focusing on Oli and her men.
We get to see some of the other people and their relationships; whether bonded or not.
Has me curious if that is significant in anyway (spin-off series maybe?).
Or if these characters will be playing key parts in the upcoming battle.
I can see it going either way.

Overall, this was an absolute favorite read.
I'm definitely invested in this series.
And can see it being added to my re-read list in the future.
If you haven't picked it up yet, I highly suggest that you do so.
You will not be disappointed.
Can't wait to see what happens in book three.

Book three, Blood Bonds, is set to release on December 21st, 2021, but the cover has not been revealed as of yet.
