Tease Me, Baby is everything I thought book two would be. We have all of the hotness, angst, bully theme, issues, and trauma from book one. Here it is twisted somewhat. After the big reveal from book one, Jess walks away from the guys. But the thing is Callum, Quinn, Asher and Ellis are not done with her. They have proclaimed her theirs! She fights hard, because she does not want to get hurt again. But the boys are persistent. They know what they want, and that is her. They will do whatever it takes to make it up to Jess. Will they wear her down? Or is she going to keep fighting to not fall for their lies anymore? But when one bully steps down, another arises. Jess will keep swinging, no matter who attacks. Little does she know the danger she is in. Someone has their eye on Jess, and they want to make her bleed.
Oh man guys!! This one was intense!! In Break Me, Baby we get to know the characters, the back story, how the guys bully Jess, but cant help but fall for her. And in Tease Me, Baby we get a switch around. The guys become her protectors. They set out to show her that they will do anything be with her, own her. They proclaim her as theirs. I have to say it was so much fun to watch Jess make them work for every little inch they gain.
The guys, really redeemed themselves here. They give her room when it is wanted, but not a lot. They take all the anger she gives, and keep going. There are still lots of secrets that we don't know. We, just like Jess are finding out things little bits at a time. I want to scream right along with her. The sex scenes are freaking hot, hot!!
The mother, I want to throat punch her. The dad entering into the picture, tons of secrets there we need to uncover. Freaking Bitch squad I want to get back at so bad. I know Jess is strong, but proven at one point there is only so much one can take.
There are some trigger warnings here. Past reference to rape, and a couple of flashbacks.
That ending will have you wanting to throw your kindle/book so beware. Huge cliffy. I hope we do not have too long to wait. So, overall, Tease Me, Baby is a great follow up that answers a few questions but creates whole new ones. Be prepared, this one is a wild ride.
