How in the world did I miss this series!! Ever since I started Origins, I could not put this series down.  I literally read each book back to back, I got nothing else done.  Bianca and her guys will captivate you as much as they did me.





Origins:
Here we are introduced to Bianca.  She is a shy, timid young girl starting college.  She has had a rough road, and finally is able to step out of her comfort zone into college with her best friend Finn.  But while she is house sitting for a teacher, she has discovered the house is haunted.  So what if she used to see things when she was younger, and had to be committed once for help from her parents.  She has always been able to rely on Finn, but he does not believe her.  So she is forced to help herself.  She tries to enlist his brothers help.  Damen, and his friends look into the paranormal.  They help people when they can.  They see something in Bianca, even when she does not.  They agree to help her, and maybe they can help you see that there is more to her than meets the eye.



Ghost:
Bianca has abilities that she was not aware she had.  Finn had lied to her for years.  But now with his brother Damen, Miles, Julian, and Titus, she is able to start embracing what her new life entails.  The world she has had her eyes opened to, is one of confusion and danger.  But now that she knows she is not crazy, and there is such a thing as magic, shifters, ghosts and all the things that go bump in the night.  Bianca can start trying to figure out what is haunting the house, why had she been lied to and just what does she stand to lose if she does not figure things out in time.



Blood:
Even more secrets are revealed to Bianca.  But she has her guys to fall back on for help.  Finally she feels like there are people who understand her, like a real family.  A place where she belongs.  Finn is not willing to let her go just yet.  She is still trying to figure out why everything was kept from her, why all the secrets and lies all of these years?  But finally she is able to help someone, even if it is a ghost.  She has the power to help and she wants to start learning how to pull her own weight with the group.  Add in that she is growing more and more attached to Miles, Damen, Julian and Titus, as they are to her.  But they are learning that she is more important to their group than just attraction.



I have absolutely been captivated by Bianca and her guys.  She was such a shy girl in the beginning and I have enjoyed watching her grow.  She was purposely lied to and kept isolated.  She was so innocent and not knowing of so much.  Her reactions to things and her reasoning had me rolling with laughter many times.  You have to keep in mind that she was isolated and everything she learned controlled.  Seeing her discover things, sayings, reactions, relationships and what it is like to truly belong.  The guys will steal your heart.  Each one is different in their own ways, not to mention different rolls in their group.  The supernatural aspect of the plot and the characters is addicting.  Lyla does an excellent job of creating a different take on the supernatural, that I find refreshing.  This series is well written, with memorable characters and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
