It's a...Reverse Harem
What’s the saying: keep your friends close and your enemies closer?
Guess I’m about to find out just how difficult that really is. I might have my best friend back but his safety and that of my chosen family depends on me doing something I vowed never to do.
Join Camden’s crew.
Thing is, you don’t turn down the leader of Hackney’s Hackers and then get a second chance without forfeiting something in return. The relationships I was just starting to build, is that too high of a price?
Sonny with his joking nature and dimples.
Ford with his mysterious dominance and protective instinct.
Eastern with his unyielding loyalty and feeling of home.
This term at Oceanside Academy, my sanity will be pushed to the limit as I walk the fine line between friend and foe. All I know is this better be worth it because I’m about to learn something important about myself. I was happy being a delinquent, but a reject…? Not so much.

ACADEMY OF MISFITS:
Delinquent
Reject
Family ( Jan. 19 )
Wow!! A lot happens in Reject. Delinquent served as setting up the characters, the basis of the plot and a general idea of how awesome these players are. In book two, Reject so much happens here. Bea has done an excellent job of throwing the reader for a loop, taking us on twists and turns. Be prepared to be totally engrossed, not able to get anything done until the story is finished.
In Reject, Asia finally gets her best friend back. Eastern has stepped up and shown Asia how much he loves her. But how does she tell him that she has kissed Ford and Sonny. And that maybe she has feelings for them. How can she keep her family and friends safe? The cost maybe more than she can bare. Can she walk away from the only family she knows? Or will she forge her own path, one where she walks a fine line one where who are her enemies and who are her future?
Asia shows us here just how much of a strong female lead she is. She has a difficult choice to make, and I like how much she steps up and tries to forge her own path. Her struggles, love, hate, loyalty and fight make her one of my favorite female leads. The guys, all have their own issues, which we get to see come to light. Eastern, whose love for Asia will make you fall for him. Sonny, with his fun personality and fierce loyalty. Camden, full of secrets, having you wonder should you trust him, but wanting to. Ford, who is fierce and protective. Can they work together for the common goal of Asia, or is their dislike of one another going to ruin everything?
Bea does, as always, have a great way with the written words. She creates characters that are these flawed and complex characters that we cannot help but love and root for. And that ending, what a way to end a book. It is a slight cliffhanger but a very solid ending. Leaving me needing book three like now!!!
