This is a new author to me and it looks like she is fairly new to the writing scene as well with only two books on her Amazon author page.
I found this book by chance.
It was recommended to me because of some other books that it compared to.
And I'm glad that I dove into it.
I really liked it and can't wait to see what happens next.

Arden is a witch.
A very powerful one.
But she doesn't know where she comes from.
That's why she is seeking the help of the Imperium Cadre at The Abbey.
With such powerful men behind her, she figures she can make some headway on learning about her past.
Things aren't as cut and dry as she had hoped they would be.

There are five men in this story.
However, it is a slow burn when it comes to romance.
We see some steamy scenes, but relationship wise...things are taking their time.
Valerian is our King of the Dragons and dragon shifter.
Theron is a Fae lord.
Daire is a vampire and witch hybrid and son of Lucifer.
Astor is incubus and witch hybrid.
Fallon is an elven prince.
Each of these men are important in their factions, yet joined together to create The Abbey and the sanctuary that it provides.
It's amazing to see how Arden slowly changes each of these men and gets them to open up.

We get to see from everyone's point of view in this book.
Though Arden is the main voice, it is nice to see how the men are handling the situations as well.

I liked the mystery surrounding this book.
Arden is searching for her ancestry, but uncovers so much more.
Not only about herself, but also the witches currently in power.
Even some of the history surrounding the new men in her life.

It was a very well-written book and I thought the characters were greatly represented.
The storyline sucked me in and I was disappointed when it ended.
I am beyond curious to see where this will lead.

There is a cliffhanger, but I didn't feel as though I wanted to chuck my book across the room because of it stopped.
It was a gradual thing.
A perfect ending to the first book that definitely will have us readers dying to know what happens next.

Overall, I would highly recommend reading this book.

Saddened to say I don't know when the next book will release. There is no preorder up as of right now and haven't seen anything on her author page. Plus, this book just released last month so it might be a little while.
