What can I say about a G. Bailey story, be prepared to be engrossed in a fantastic world with a worthy heroine who sets out to save the Sea and her pirates. In Love the Sea we pick up where Escape the Sea leaves off. Cass is captured and on her way to the king, to an unknown future filled with pain and death. Can her chosen reach her time? What will the cost be, how many lives lost? And will Cass embrace her destiny.
If you liked the first book, then you will love the second. We are more invested in Cass and her struggle to be strong, and brave. She loves her pirates with a passion that comes out in the masterful way G. Bailey writes about her characters and sets the stage for an addicting story. At times we cry for those lost, we rage at the villain, we fall in love with pirates that support their love. They are strong and protective, know that she has a destiny she must fulfill and will stand behind her. Each and everyone is sexy and strong and just what Cass needs. There is a cliffhanger but it ends in such a way to setup perfectly for the third book.
I will always recommend a G. Bailey story, it's guaranteed to be a can't put down until I finish engaging read, always bringing the reader back for more.
