It's a...Reverse Harem
I’m starting over.
Moving to a new town to start college, where I can try to be normal. Or at least pretend I am.
I’m willing to fake it, because I’m tired of trying to get better. Tired of spilling my guts to doctors and therapists to understand why I’ve heard voices since I was a child.
The meds are working… for now, but if they stop, I’ll never tell. I just want to live my life, and if that means ignoring why so many people think I’m crazy, so be it.
She’s the most silent storm I’ve ever witnessed.
Waylynn is as pretty as a picture, curvy, with hazel eyes that always seem to evade everyone’s gaze.
She’s been avoiding me since our first encounter, but fate intervenes and brings her right back to me… and my brother.
Now I need to know more.
Seeing Sound is the first book of the Tasting Madness Series. This is Reverse Harem novel with adult themes and situations.
I'm not sure why but when I went into this I thought it was a standalone.
I'm glad I was wrong and we will see more, but also a little sad because now I have to wait to see what will happen next.

Waylynn has not had it easy and has decided to start over somewhere new where she can pretend to be normal.
Tired of therapy sessions and padded rooms, she wants to go to college and be like every other girl there. Even if she is slightly different.
Her meds have been keeping the voices at bay, but that all changes when she meets the Gravlin brothers.
Something about them sparks the voices and she doesn't know whether she should keep her distance from them or draw them in closer.

This is a slow burn reverse harem.
I know of for sure two men in the harem.
The Gravlin brothers. Memphis and Oz.
There is another guy, Bates, that I'm pretty sure will also be in the harem, but he hasn't been included officially like the other two.
However, who knows if more will be added.
I'm curious to see how these dynamics will play out.
Memphis is the "daddy" of the group. He loves to protect those he cares about and is sometimes borderline overprotective. He is also a bit controlling.
Oz is the peace maker of the group. He is very childlike and goofy.
We don't know much about Bates except he is a cello player and has been friends with the brothers for forever.

Guys, I absolutely fell in love with this book.
That ending though!
I thought this book was very different from most of the stuff I read.
I love how the author dives into mental health awareness and overcoming those issues.
I'm not sure if this will have a paranormal aspect to it or what the plan is for the plot, but I'm intrigued to see what will happen next.
These characters drew me in from the beginning and I was instantly hooked.

I will highly recommend this book and the following in the series.
I can easily see it becoming a fan favorite and re-reading it often.
Luckily, we won't have to wait too terribly long for book two to release or book three.
Looking forward to what comes next.
