It's a...Reverse Harem
Three years ago my tormentors kidnapped me from my bed with the promise of ending our longstanding animosity. During the two days on that mountain, disturbing secrets were revealed and heavy feelings exposed. In one night, everything I thought I knew shifted. Regardless, I couldn’t stay in their twisted world. Maybe I broke their hearts, but they had hardened mine.
Now West, Blake, and Cody are back for their pound of flesh. Debts will be paid, consequences be damned. What I didn’t realize when I walked away from everything was that I would forever change the course of their lives, just as they had mine.
But as complicated feelings resurface and lines are blurred under the guise of my own safety, another threat emerges. Can I count on them to have my back after everything we’ve put each other through, or will they toss me to the wolves in a final act of revenge?
I'm on the fence of how I feel about this book.
I had it on my TBR list from TikTok because I kept seeing videos of some of the scenes and was intrigued.
While I enjoyed it for the most part, I don't think it is one of my favorites.

Violet lost her parents at a young age and felt like her life fell apart.
One of her best friends, West, along with two of his friends became her tormentors and her uncle never really wanted her around.
She had tried running away when she was younger but was unsuccessful.
Now she is just waiting for graduation to get out of this place.
Her plans are placed on hold when she is kidnapped by her tormentors and "hunted" by them in the woods.
Things take a drastic turn in their relationship, but Violet knows she must still get away.
She succeeds until years later they eventually find her once again and try to convince her they need her in their lives.

We have three men in the harem.
West. Blake. Cody.
West is Violet's childhood best friend. They lived across the street from one another and had done everything together until Violet's parents passed away.
Blake had somewhat been Violet's boyfriend when they were older, but it didn't quite work out.
Cody is the goofball of the group though he looks like a bear.
Each of them have always had feelings for Violet, but choose to express those feelings in a bizarre way.
Blake and Cody are also in a relationship. If you are not a fan of MM relationships, then this isn't the book for you.

I'm usually not a huge fan of the bully-to-lovers trope.
I think it is an overdone thing especially in reverse harem.
This book is broken into two parts and told from multiple perspectives.
Part One is while they are in high school.
We see the "relationship" these four had and how they are trying to change it.
Part Two takes place four years later.
Each of the characters has gone about their lives the way they see fit before coming together once more.

There are a lot of steamy scenes that take place.
Plus a huge plot twist.
Definitely was not expecting that to happen.
While this is a stand-alone, I feel like the author could have given us just a little bit more in the epilogue.
It ends with a happily ever after, you don't have to worry about that.

Overall, it was a decent book and I would recommend checking it out to see what you think of it.
