Night of the Wild Stags is part of the Big Bad Bunnies world. You do not need to read in any order and could be considered a standalone. I have not read any of the other series and followed along just fine. However with past character references, and how interesting the characters were, I am going to have to check them out. I am most interested in the bunny hybrids. She seemed pretty bada@@.
The male main characters are protective and hot in their own ways, and the chemistry with the main female lead is good.  I must confess I have not read a story like this one.  Which is what caught my eye.  I was interested in the story of deer shifters, and deer/hybrids. I was very surprised and pleased, it was a great read, funny, great sex scenes and great characters.  It opened up the doors for me having to read about bunny hybrids.

Our main female lead Kiara has escaped her abusive mate Sebastian.  Along the way to freedom she has picked up the Scrouge, a disease for shifters.  Very sick and collapsed along the side of the road on her way to Lakewood.  Enter four steer shifters, the Walkers. They are on their way out of Lakewood, headed for a vacation.  When they find Kiara, they take her to the hospital for treatment.  They have a need to stay by her side.  When the only way to help her is to change her dna and make her a hybrid, they know that she will need their help.  She is attracted to all four, but is scared of her feelings.  She just escaped one mate, she does not want another, let alone four.  All the guys want to do is show her how a mate should be treated, and cherish her.  But when the past comes back to claim her, the guys will stop at nothing to protect her.

In my honest opinion Night of the Wild Stags is a good fun read, filled with a likable main character in Kiara. I liked that she didn't settle for the way life was, she wanted something different and left.  The guys, man those are some alpha males that were perfect for her.  Dorian, Gavin, Riley and Alex are just the perfect balance of protective and understanding, added with downright sexiness.  The love scenes were hot and well written.  Over all a good interesting read, that has me needing to read about hybrid bunnies. Oh and can I add that I freakng love this cover, gorgeous!

Oh and I had to google what Pudu deer look like. They are cute!
