The Dragon Queen's Harem (May 17)


Daisy wears a few titles, Queen of the Beasts, and The Fury Queen. She is also part dragon, and part fae.  She is cursed to stay on Pandemonium, which she has done for centuries, until she can get her three true loves to kiss her.  When three ships carrying three dragon princes,  land Daisy thinks she can finally leave this cursed planet.  But things become somewhat complicated when she finds out that they are trying to kill the Fury Queen, for they need the three heads of the Furies, in order to shift back into their dragons. They could also accomplish this by making her fall in love with them, but they are looking for the easiest way out.   Her plan is to make them fall in love with her, get her kisses and then they will live happily ever after, right?


This is my first read from Meg, and I enjoyed it.  The Fury Queen's Harem was fast paced, a little faster than I normally read, and sometimes felt kinda confusing a few times. However the story is a sci-fi world that is so very interesting and new.  I hope in book two we get more info on  this world, but what we do get is so vivid.  Daisy is feisty, yeah you would have to be to be a Fury, sassy, and not afraid to go after what she wants.  She is a direct character, and it was fun to read about her. The princes of course were hot, sexy and completely under Daisy's spell lol. They don't all mesh together like we normally see in the stories so I cannot wait to see how they work that out. Lord Elvey, I really need to see where this goes.  I don't want to give spoilers away, just I really liked their interactions together.  That being said I enjoyed The Fury Queen's Harem, it is heavy sci-fi, fast paced, a new look on the supernatural world that has potential to be a great series.
