Going into Savior of Midnight had mixed feelings for me, excited to see how the series ends/if  Harker gets her happily ever after. And this is the end of the series.  I have loved this series since Chapter One of Protector of Midnight.  Harker is one of those female leads that you really grow attached to.  Her snarky attitude, and general bada@@ery draws you in.  Her journey and struggles will have you cheering her on.  The guys will also carve a place in your heart, all so different yet just what Harker needs.  Ryker, Orin, Xavier, Drayton, and Rivers, are each hot and so very dangerous in their own ways.  This series is perfect for the urban fantasy RH fan.

The final book is bittersweet and action packed.  Ms. Cassidy is so very good at weaving complex storylines, as well as giving and taking away.  Savior of Midnight was action packed from the beginning clear to the end.  I do believe with a good epilogue.  I was all over the emotional scale with this book.  Happy one minute and sad the next.  I had a couple of "what just happened" moments, and yes a few may leave you sad.  Yes we do see an end to the completion on a few things.  Since the story is so action packed we do not get a lot of alone time, however we do get to know a character or two more.  Harker's relationships with the guys fully develop and in my opinion are very satisfying.  If you're looking for really sappy and lovey dovey, then you will be disappointed.  I however felt it fit the main characters and her men perfectly.  Overall I would recommend this series all day long, a definite must have for your library.
