It's a...Reverse Harem
I came to college for one reason. To honor my dead mate and parents. They died in a tragic accident and I spent most of the following year wallowing in a pit of pain and self-despair. But now, it's time for me to step the f*ck up and get my life in order. I’ll attend all my classes and live my life the way they would have wanted, and nothing is going to stand in my way.
At least that’s what I thought before I met the pack that would change everything...

**This review contains some spoilers. Please be aware.**
I'm not quite sure where I stand on this book just yet.
I assumed it would be a reverse harem/why choose story (and it is), but the beginning completely threw me off from that.
When this story starts we are reading about two characters fighting about having a family.
Fighting is kind of a harsh word, discussing with passion maybe?
Katie had been dating Seth when she learned she was also mated to his brother Drew.
Katie and Drew are True Mates while Katie and Seth are still mates, but not as intense? as she is with Drew. (They are all wolf shifters, though Katie is different due to the inability to shift)
However, Drew is a bootyhole and made Katie choose between them. He thought their true mate bond would ensure that she chose him.
That wasn't the case.
She picked Seth and they have been living a life together.
But what Katie never admits, not even out loud to herself, is that she is missing a part of herself and can't get Seth what he has been dying (and planning for the last several years) to have.
A family.
Seth seems to feel as if he isn't enough and it's why she won't follow through with their life plans.
It is during this argument that the unthinkable happens.
An accident.
Death.
An pain so unimaginable that Katie isn't sure what she will do with her life now.
Skip ahead a year.
Katie has now decided to attend school like her and Seth had planned.
Though it is nowhere near where they originally set out to be.
Imagine her surprise when she finds a local wolf pack in the area.
And that she is attracted to them.
This sets off a whirlwind of emotions, actions, and information.
Seriously, it is crazy how much happens.
Why I say I'm not sure where I'm at with this book is for a few reasons.
1) though Katie lets Drew know that she will not be seeking him out due to the turmoil their relationship has caused, he is still her True Mate and when she starts the relationship with other men (although they are in her harem as well) at first it felt like cheating to me. Especially because she assumed she was attracted at first due to her mating heat, and was just using them to help stay under control.
2) it's unclear exactly how many guys will be in her harem. I'm the type that likes to have at least a somewhat clear cut idea of how many men will be included in this love story. Unlike what most people may think, I do believe there can be TOO many guys, but that is just my opinion.
3) there were a few confusing aspects in the story that made it hard for me to follow exactly what was going on. This may be due to the late time of my reading, overhaul of information, or the story just reading that way. I'm not sure, but I wasn't clear on a few aspects and would love to see those cleared up in the following books.
Overall, I enjoyed the plot line.
I'm curious to see where this will lead and what will become of the characters.
And there's a lot of them.
My favorite would definitely have to be Colby.
I just felt like his and Katie's relationship was the most natural out of everyone she is currently with.
While I enjoyed it, I might not recommend it, but I could also see myself doing it as well.
It is so different from some of the other shifter stories out there that I could definitely see people being intrigued by it.
I would love to see what others think about it.
