The Challenge. Set up by super rich Dante Vidal to give his son something to do. If they succeed, Dante will donate an extremely large amount of money to charity. Five men, one woman, all incredibly talented and qualified to sail across the ocean with no problems. Things don't always work out so easily though do they?
Olivia is perfectly fine being the only woman aboard The Temptress. She's right at home on the sailboat in the middle of the ocean. While the view is mighty nice, and not just the ocean ;), she's completely focused on The Challenge and proving that she is just as capable as the five hot men on board with her. While they all knew beforehand that Olivia was more than qualified for this adventure, she continues to surprise them all. She's strong, smart and fully capable of taking care of herself. The fact that she's gorgeous is just icing on top of the cake.
Circumstances beyond their control leave them stranded. Mason, Lucas, Raul, Evan and Harrington will have to learn to put their differences aside and tame their alpha natures in order to survive this new situation. The one thing they can all agree on, they are all attracted to Olivia.
I really enjoyed this book. You've got a fully independent, strong and capable woman who is working with 5 equally capable men. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses and they all balance each other out. While things do progress quickly, it's not a real insta love kinda thing. What woman wouldn't be attracted to 5 super hot guys who she's stuck with day in and day out. We get to spend time getting to know the characters and then we get to spend some time having some adventures. I think it's a well rounded start to this new series and I'm really looking forward to the next book. Thanks goodness it is already up for pre-order and releases soon.
