The Hundred Year Curse, (The Royal Harem)

It's a...Reverse Harem
Princess Wren doesn’t know it yet, but she’s the key to unlocking an ancient curse. As if forged from the salt of the ocean, three men seek her out on the shores of her kingdom. Suddenly her boring royal life becomes more exciting... and dangerous. Wren feels a magnetic attraction pulling her to these mysterious men, despite a century of time pushing them apart. They trust her to help them but their days as mortals are numbered. The clock is ticking. Their lives are in her hands. Break the curse and they all live happily ever after. Fail and the men will spend another hundred years at the bottom of the sea. Another hundred years as mermen. This is a Reverse Harem Story, book one of three.

Releases 11/7

The Ryker royal family disappeared 100 years ago. Nobody knows what happened. As the honorary celebration nears, Princess Wren stumbles upon three strangers. Three strangers who have secrets galore. Cohen, Cason and Cormac have waited a long time to meet Wren. She's the only one who can help them. How will she react once they reveal their secrets. What will happen if they do actually break the curse?

This is the first book in The Royal Harem series. I think the series has potential. Basically you've got an entire family that was cursed to the sea. After 100 years, three mermen get 100 days to try and break the curse. They have no clue how to do that though. The only thing they know for sure is that Wren is the one to help them. Between her overbearing father and her would be suitor, breaking the curse isn't their only problem.

This is a fairly short book and while I did enjoy it, I feel like there could have been a little more. We spend a good amount of time building on the relationships but I feel like we need more information on the curse. I like the main characters and I want to see where this goes. In my opinion, it's a good start and I'll continue with the series. I hope we get a little more in the next book.
