If they can’t work together, they may never be able to escape. First, they have to learn to get a long, which might prove the most impossible task of all.
This book is such a fresh breath of air. There is mystery, romance, nerdy science, psychology and conspiracy theories! Valda wakes up missing five years of memory alone in?.. where? .. WHY? They have no idea just information that leads you to believe they all consented to a project that is very important.
Valda is a little hard to warm to for awhile, she is a nurtured introvert and she doesn't handle people very well. But she does well enough with these four men who have varying levels of familiarity with her. She is a good person with a big heart but sometimes it comes across a little too sterile out of the mouth of a scientist.
You'll spend most of the book coming up with your own theories on what is coming and you will keep reevaluating them. I will say I was very surprised at the end when the final revelation of the book peaks, I had considered but REALLY WOW! I think our science fiction lovers will really love this book. The plot is constantly thickening but it doesn't move at an action pace. The romantic build for the relationships is a little more than a slow burn but still moves at a good steady (SWEET) pace.
