This is the first book in the duology after Kingson Pride, the first half covers Abby and the Wolves perspective of events after the pride and the wolves return to Wild Junction. My only real warning on this is that you probably shouldn't read it RIGHT after finishing the Kingson Pride series. However if you are like most of us you'll be in Riley withdraws and totally ready to get to know Abby, Thomas, James and Antonio better. Like get to know them in the biblical sense? Maybe, I don't read and tell.

Now my other warning about this book, this is a 'sweet cherry pie feast in the middle of cloud humping Prince Charming', type of  book. The characters aren't perfect but you want to wrap yourself up in the softest blanket ever and just read till your heart is content. Side effects are dreamy sighs, indulgent chuckles and half love half hating the author because you know you are heading hard into book hangover.

Kristen again shows us her wide range as an author to give us a fantastic story no matter if we are deep in the shadows, in the middle of feline shifter drama or settling into a sweet happy read. I'm kind of wondering what the heck is she going to do to me next? The characters aren't unfamiliar to us but if for some unknown reason you haven't read Kingson Pride you don't have to, this could be a standalone series. I am so excited for the next addition because the plot has turned, Abby and the Wolves have things that they must face and they need to face them together.
