I love this author so much. I have read most of her books, and she never fails to weave a great fast paced, action filled, strong female lead, with sexy alphas. Into the Storm takes place a few days after From the Ashes ends. Yes we get some answers to questions, but we also get more. We get to find out more about Piper, who her parents are, what is she, just how powerful can she become? Who does Piper pick to be her mate? The sexy and oh so dangerous vampire Merc, or the sinfully hot alpha werewolf Knox? They are both good for her in their own way, I really can't pick a favorite between the two. Than there is her trusted sidekick Grizz, who has a surprise of his own. I love the relationships that she has with her friends, where they are her family and she will do anything to keep them safe, and vice versa. The action starts pretty much right off, with Merc being kidnapped. Which is when we get introduced to our new villain. And oh what games this new one likes to play. I don't want to give anything away, that is what makes the story so engaging. Secrets get revealed, old and new allies emerge. From the Ashes introduced you to the players, and set up this addicting series. Into the Storm carries your questions, action, love, heartache, magic, and sexiness to the next level. This series seriously rocks guys. So if you are looking for a Paranormal slow build RH that is a fast paced read, than this series is for you.
