It's a...Reverse Harem
From USA TODAY Bestselling Author, C. L. Stone, read Love's Cruel Redemption, the much-anticipated twelfth book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series. Sang’s life was on pause after the dramatic break with her real family. Now she’s back in the game, returning to Ashley Waters to appear like a normal student. However, returning to school hasn’t made her life any easier. When it comes to the Academy and her role in the secret organization, there’s no such thing as normal. When Kota’s mother catches Sang and the guys in the complex web of lies they’ve woven, everything starts to unravel: Their relationships, their ties to the Academy. Everything’s under risk of exposure. Nathan struggles most with his conscience and lying to Erica Lee, the woman who supported him when his own mother was never there, doesn’t seem like the right thing to do. She’s his family and Nathan knows you shouldn’t lie to family. But he also knows the truth could hurt her: It could put Erica in danger. And it could force Kota to make a choice he should never have to: his mother and sister, or his team—his chosen family. With Ashley Waters High School under attack and the principal now missing, the Academy needs to maintain its cover more than ever. It’s a bad time for Erica to start discovering what the Academy is really all about. But to protect the m all, Nathan’s willing to take the heat. He’ll do it for Sang, as well as Kota, Victor, Silas, Gabriel, Luke, North, and the rest of the team. He may be their only chance at survival. But Sang, who committed to be all in with her team, isn’t about to let Nathan go down alone. The Academy: Family First

I feel if you're this far into the series, you are in it for the long haul and I don't need to tell you how fabulous this book, and series, is, but I'm going to anyways.

The Academy series is the one that got me started on my reverse harem journey and I am still absolutely in love with it.
I think it just gets better and better as we go on.

This is told from a dual point of view.
Sang and Nathan.
And I will warn you now, this book focuses heavily on Nathan.
Usually when we heard that a book would be about someone, we still got scenes from the other guys.
In this one, a lot of them are pushed to the back burner to give us sole focus on Nathan.
I loved that about this book.
And think it was absolutely necessary for the storyline.

Although we have one major issue solved that has been plaguing the characters, I feel like several others popped up.

The A Report will leave you reeling.
The red herring it gives will cause panic, and make you question everything you know about the character.
I love how much mystery is in this series.
Just when you think you might have something solved, CL throws a kink into that plan.

I wanted to re-read this book almost immediately to see if I missed any essential clues, but don't think we will ever know everything until the series is complete.

Which I do feel like will be soon.
It just seems like all the loose ends are finally being tied up.

We get a sneak peek into Book 13 and it will leave you feeling worried.
But what I say is, remember how you felt about LCR's sneak peek in Book 11?
Everyone was freaking out about Nathan, but it turned out everything was okay.
I know I'm just going to take a step back and let the pieces fall where they will.
Everything will work out in the end.
(However, I know everyone will be trying to decode it, so I will be on the lookout for those :D )

Must read!
This entire series is amazing, but I really enjoyed this book.
